Talladega Superspeedway is a huge facility, and with tens of thousands of fans arriving on race weekend, parking is an important part of the experience. The track offers several different types of parking areas, designed to accommodate everyone from casual day-visitors to campers, competitors, and guests with special needs.
Most visitors use the free day-parking lots located around the property. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you arrive, the better your chance of securing a convenient spot. Access is typically via Speedway Boulevard, the main road leading into the complex. From here, it’s just a short walk or tram ride to the gates.
For fans who want less walking or faster access in and out, paid parking options are available. Premium and preferred lots are located closer to the entrances and main grandstands, making them a popular choice for families, guests with limited mobility, or anyone who simply values convenience. These passes must be purchased in advance and often sell out before race day.
Talladega provides dedicated ADA-accessible parking areas with shuttle or tram access to key points around the track. There are also specialized zones reserved for motorcycles, media, and competitors. Clear signage and staff on site make it easier to find the correct lot when you arrive.
Because of the size of the property, Talladega operates a complimentary tram service throughout race weekends. The trams run continuously between the main parking areas, campgrounds, entrances, and fan zones, making it much easier to get around without long walks.
