Talladega Superspeedway is committed to making race weekends accessible and enjoyable for all guests. The venue provides a wide range of facilities and services designed for fans with disabilities, covering everything from reserved seating and transportation to parking and personal mobility options.
Accessible seating is available in both the grandstands and towers. In the grandstands, these sections are positioned at the main concourse level, making them easier to reach without climbing stairs. In the towers, ADA seating is typically located in the first row, ensuring a clear view of the action with straightforward access. An exception is the O.V. Hill South Tower Extension, where accessible seats are located on the top row (Row 77) and can be reached by elevator – the only tower section to offer elevator access.
To purchase ADA tickets, fans are encouraged to call the Talladega ticket office. Switchback ramps are available throughout the property for wheelchair users or those who find stairs difficult.
For race day itself, ADA seating can be found across multiple areas. On Sundays, reserved spaces are available in Lincoln, Anniston, O.V. Hill North and South, and Birmingham Grandstands, while the towers include ADA sections in the O.V. Hill North and South Towers, the Tri-Oval Tower, Birmingham Tower, Moss-Thornton Tower, and Talladega Tower. For fans attending both days, additional seating is also available in the Gadsden Grandstand and in the Lincoln, Tri-Oval, and O.V. Hill South Tower Extension.
Transportation around the vast Talladega property is made easier thanks to a free golf cart service. This is reserved exclusively for guests with disabilities and one companion. The carts operate from several designated pick-up points across the grounds, though if a guest requires pick-up from another location, a family member or companion may request help at a Guest Services Fan Information Booth. After each race, cart service is paused for approximately 45 minutes until pedestrian traffic clears, and during peak times, there may be longer waits. This service is always complimentary, and tips are not accepted.
Parking is another area where Talladega provides dedicated options. Guests who have purchased wheelchair-accessible seating will receive an ADA Parking car tag for reserved lots close to the towers. ADA Lot 1 is located next to Legend’s Village behind the O.V. Hill South Tower, while ADA Lot 3 sits behind the O.V. Hill North and Tri-Oval Towers. Spaces in Lot 3 are limited and may be purchased in advance by phone. In addition, fans with a state-issued disabled license plate or placard can use ADA Lot 4 near Entrance Plaza 1. This lot is free of charge but operates on a first-come, first-served basis and tends to fill quickly, so early arrival is strongly recommended.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs or electric convenience vehicles (ECV scooters) for personal mobility. ECVs must be single-person, commercially manufactured devices such as HoverRound, Jazzy, Rascal, or Scoot models. These can be used freely across the property, including in accessible seating areas.
With these services in place – from seating and parking to shuttles and mobility support – Talladega Superspeedway works hard to ensure that every fan can enjoy the thrill of NASCAR racing in comfort and safety.
